  1. The right atrium receives deoxygenated blood from the vena cava, it pushes it to the right ventricle.
  2. The right ventricle contact pushes the deoxygenated blood to the lungs for the removal of carbon dioxide through the pulmonary artery.
  3. The oxygenated blood is carried by a pulmonary vein from the lungs to the left auricle.
  4. The left auricle pushes the blood to the left ventricle which then passes the blood to the whole body for use.
