The blue paint bottle covers an area of 600 cm2. Will one bottle be sufficient to paint the entire cylindrical block given below? [Use 𝜋 = 3.14]

The diameter is 10 cm.
So the radius = 102=5 cm
We have to find the surface area of the cylinder.
The surface area of cylinder = 2πr(r+h)
=2×3.14 × 5(5+14)
=596.6 cm2
The calculated area is 596.6 cm2.
The bottle can cover 600 cm2, so blue paint will be sufficient for the cylinder.
