Given,
$u=8\text{m/s},a=1{\text{m/s}}^2,n=6$
As we know that the distance travelled in $n^{th}$ second is given by
$S_n=u+\frac{a}{2}(2n-1)$
$S_{6^{\text{th}}}=8+\frac{1}{2}\times (2\times 6-1)$
$=8+\frac{1}{2}\times 11$
$=8+5.5=13.5\text{m}$
