Solution
The correct option is (A) True
The boiling point of liquid increases with an increase in pressure and decreases with a decrease in pressure.
At boiling point, the liquid starts to convert into gas. Under normal conditions, molecules have to overcome atmospheric pressure which is applying force on them.
When pressure is increased they have to overcome extra force being applied to them, so they need extra heat energy. In process of giving extra heat energy, the boiling point also increases.
