total apples $=$ total boxes $\times$ total apple in a single box

$=27\times 64$

$=648$

As the no. of apples remain same and 36 apples are to be filled in a single box.

Total boxes needed $=\frac{\text{Total No.Of Apples}}{\text{No.Of Appled in a Box}}$

$=\frac{648}{36}=18$
