% by volume of C4H10 in a gaseous mixture =40%

Volume of C4H10 in the mixture =40% of 200ml=80ml
Combustion reaction of C4H10
C4H10+132O24CO2+5H2O

Volume of CO2 produced by combustion of C4H10=4×80=320ml

Combustion reaction of CH4
CH4+2O2CO2+2H2O

Combustion reaction of CO
2CO+O22CO2

Volume of CH4+CO in mixture = 200- 40=120 ml

Equal volume of CO2 is produced in each CH4 and CO combustion.
Volume of CO2 produced by the Combustion reaction of CO and CH4= 120 ml

Total volume of CO2=320+120=440ml
