The correct option is B 4 m
Given that the capacity of the cuboidal container is 30000 litres and the base area of the tank is 7.5m2.
Let l, b and h be the length, breadth and height of the cuboidal container.
Capacity of the cuboidal container = 30000 L
l×b×h=300001000m3=30m3 ....(i)
(1L=1000m3)
Base area of the tank =7.5m2
l×b=7.5m2
Substituting in (i), we get
7.5×h=30
h=307.5
h=4m
Therefore, the height of the tank is 4m.
Hence, the correct answer is option (b).
