Finding the breadth of the tank

Given that,

Height of cuboidal tank,$h=10m$

The volume of the cuboidal tank $=50000litres$

We know that, Formula for the volume of a cuboid $=l\times b\times h$

So, the volume of the cuboidal tank $=2.5\times b\times 10=25b{m}^3$

We know that

$1m^3=1000Litres$

The capacity of the tank $=25b\times 1000=25000bLitres$

Also, the capacity of a cuboidal tank is $50000litres$of water (Given)

Therefore, $25000b=50000$

$\Rightarrow b=2$

Hence, The breadth of the given cuboidal tank$=2m$
