Capacity of spherical capacitor bounded by two spheres is given by:
C=4πϵ0R1R2R2R1------------(i)
Now, according to question:
C=1μF=106F
and R2R1=1mm=103m
So, by putting the value in eq. (i), we get:
106=4πϵ0R1R2103m
R1R2=14πϵ0×106×103
As we know, R1R2 and 14πϵ0=9×109
So, R22=9×109×109
R2=9=3m
