Changed M.P. after discount
$= M . P (1 - \frac{D_{1} %}{100}) (1 - \frac{D_{2} %}{100})$
$= R s 45000 (1 - \frac{7}{100}) (1 - \frac{4}{100})$
$= R s 45000 \times \frac{93}{100} \times \frac{96}{100} = R s 40176$
(i) Sales tax to be paid = 8% of Rs 40176
= Rs 3214.08
(ii) Final price to be paid = Rs 40176 + 3214.08
= Rs 43390.08
