The correct option is D (-5 -3)
Let the other end of the diameter B be (a, b)
We know, mid-point of a line is=[(x1+x2)2,y1+y22]

So,
(4,2)=[(3+a)2,(7+b)2]

Now,
(3+a)2=4
3+a=8
a=8+3
a=5

also,
(7+b)2=2
7+b=4
b=4 7
b=3

Hence, the other end of the diameter is (-5, -3).
