X-chromosome and Y-chromosome are the sex chromosomes that are involved in sex determination in human. The genes are found on sex-chromosomes are called as sex linked because their pattern of inheritance is dependent on the sex of the organism. Being a small one, Y-chromosome carries almost nothing and all the sex linked genes are present on the X-chromosome. Autosomes are the chromosomes that are not involved in sex determination and hence do not carry the sex linked genes. Option C is the correct answer.
