Question
The CI=SI ,when principal and rate is same ,then time is ______
Open in App
Solution
Simple interest,
A=P(1+rt)
Compound interest,
A=P(1+r)^t
SI=PI
So,
P(1+rt) = P(1+r)^t
1+rt = (1+r)^t
The above equation is true only when t=1
So, t = 1 year
