Solution

The correct option is D 8 cm
The old radius of the circle A is2 cm. The new radius is twice the old radius. So the new radius will be two times the old radius.
That is, 2 x 2 cm = 4 cm
Diameter = 2 × radius
= 2 × 4
= 8 cm
