Current in resistors connected in series carry equal current. When resistors are connected in parallel, current inversely divides into the branches of the resistors.

Hence the current in resistor 1 is largest, which divides into other branches.

Most of the divided passes through resistor 7, then lesser current passes equally through resistors 5 and 6, and least and equally in resistors 2,3 and 4.
