The circumference of a circle exceeds the diameter by 16.8 cm. Find the circumference of the circle.

Let the radius of the circle be rcm.
According to the given condition,
Circumference of a circle = Diameter of a circle + 16.8

2πr=2r+16.8

2×227×r2r=16.8

44r14r7=16.8

30r7=16.8

r=16.8×730=3.92cm

Circumference of a circle =2πr

Circumference of a circle =2×227×3.92=24.64cm
