Solution

Given: Circumference of the base of a cylindrical vessel, r=132 cm

Height of the vessel, h=25 cm

Circumference of base of cylindrical vessel is given by

2πr=132

2×227×r=132

r=132×744

r=21 cm

Volume of the vessel = Volume of the cylinder

=π(r)2h
=227×21×21×25
=34650 cm3

=34650×11000 l [1000 cm3=1 l,1 cm3=11000 l]

=34.650 l
