The circumference of the front wheel of a cart is 3 m and that of the back is 4 m. What is the distance travelled by the cart, when the front wheel makes five more revolutions than the rear wheel?

Given that, the circumference of the front wheel of a cart is 3 m and that of the back wheel is 4 m.
Also, the front wheel makes five more revolutions than the back.
To find out: The distance travelled by the cart.

Let the distance be x m.
x3x4=5

4x3x12=5

x=5×12=60 m

Hence, the distance travelled by the cart is 60 m.
