Solution

The correct option is C

(i) Acromion (ii) Glenoid cavity

The clavicle or collarbone is a long curved horizontal bone attached to the sternoclavicular ligament on one side and the acromioclavicular ligament on the other. The shoulder bone forms the posterior part of the shoulder girdle and lies at the back of the thorax, superficially to the ribs. It is a triangular flat bone. From the posterior part of the scapula, extends a prominent ridge called the spine of the scapula, which crosses across it and overhangs the shoulder joint as a process called acromion. This is where the clavicle meets the shoulder bone. The shoulder joint, where the upper arm is attached to the scapula, is called as the glenoid cavity.
