bxy=rσxσy=0.5×54=0.625
Regression equation,
y¯¯¯y=byx(x¯¯¯x)|x¯¯¯x=bxy(y¯¯¯y)
y5=(0.4)(x3)|x3=(0.625)(y5)
y=0.4x+3.8, x=0.625y0.125
