Question

Solution

Acceleration of the system (A+B) down the plane = gsinθ. In both the block and wedges, friction between them will be static. The block A is at rest w.r.t. wedge B.
From FBD of A:
N=mgmasinθ (i)
f=macosθ (ii)
For no sliding between A and B,
f<μN
mgsinθ.cosθ<μ(mgmgsin2θ)
or mgsinθcosθ<μmg(1sinθ)
sinθcosθ<μcos2θ
tanθ or θ=tan1(μ)
