The correct option is C Ladakh range
Cold
deserts occur in temperate regions at higher latitudes. They have colder
temperatures than those at which hot deserts are found. These dry environments
are caused by either remoteness from the coast, which results in low
atmospheric humidity from a lack of onshore winds, or the presence of high
mountains separating the desert from the coast. Cold desert in Himalayas is Ladakh
Range. It is a segment of the Karakoram mountain range that extends to the
southeast from the mouth of the Shyok River in the Ladakh region to the Tibetan
border. These ranges are parallel to the northeast bank of the Indus River.
