Given that:

Common difference is $d$ in Both $AP$.

First term of first $AP$

$A=8$

$A_{30}=8+30d$ ......(1)

First term of second $AP$

$a=3$

$a_{30}=3+30d$ ......(2)

On subtracting equation (2) from equation (1), we get

$A_{30}-a_{30}=8+30d-3-30d$

$A_{30}-a_{30}=5.$

This is the required answer.
