The complement of an angle is 30 degree less than twice the angle.Find the angle.

Let x be the unknown angle of the condition.
Then the complementary angle is 90°-x.

According to the condition,

90 - x = 2x - 30.

Solve it:

90 + 30 = 2x + x,

3x = 120.

Thus one angle is 40°. The other angle is 50°.
