Calculate the molecular mass of given compounds
CaCO3 = 40 + 12 + 16 × 3 = 100 u
CaO = 40 + 16 = 56 u
Ca(OH)2 = 40 + 2x (16 + 1) = 74 u
CaCl2 = 40 + 35.5 × 2 = 111 u.
After calculating the molecular mass of these compounds, we can say that CaCl2 has more molecular weight.
