The correct option is A From plate A towards plate B
As the capacitor is being charged, the displacement current will certainly flow across plates of the capacitor.

According to Kirchhoff's current law, the current flowing through all parts of the branch, shown in the diagram, should have the same magnitude and direction. So, the displacement current must flow transversely across the plates of the capacitor, from plate A towards plate B.
