Solution

The correct option is A

(-1,8)

Explanation for the correct option:

Step-1 : Find the vertices of traingle :

Given the sides of triangle are

AC3x-4y=0...(i)AB5x+12y=0...(ii)BCy-15=0...(iii)

Finding vertices of the triangle by solving equations (i),(ii)&(iii)

From (ii)&(ii) we get

x=0,y=0A(0,0)

From (ii)&(iii) we get

x=-36y=15B(-36,15)

From (i)&(iii) we get

y=15x=20C(20,15)

Therefore, the vertices of the triangle are A(0,0),B(-36,15)&C(20,15)

Step-2 :The length of sides:

The distance formula is given by

D=x2-x12+y2-y12

Now calculating the sides of triangle by using the distance formula.

AB=-36-02+15-02=39=aBC=20+362+15-152=56=bAC=20-02+15+02=25=c

Step-3 : Find the incentre of triangle:

Now, the incentre of the triangle is

=x1a+x2b+x3ca+b+c,y1a+y2b+y3ca+b+c=0×56-36×25+20×39120,0×56+15×25+15×39120=-900+780120,375+585120=-120120,960120=-1,8

Hence, option (A) is the correct answer.
