Step : Find (abscissaofA)+(ordinateofB)

The two points A(3,4) and B(-2,-1).

We know that, abscissa is the x-coordinate of the point and ordinate is y-coordinate of the point.

The abscissa of A: Abscissa of A which is x-coordinate is 3.

The ordinate of B: Ordinate of B which is the y axis is (-1).

Now find the sum of these two =(abscissaofA)+(ordinateofB)

=3+-1=2

Hence the correct answer is option D
