Water from the reservoir is directed to a sedimentation tank where insoluble solids settle. Then, water enters the loading tank where suspended impurities are sedimented.
Next, water is directed to a filtration tank where all the suspended impurities are removed.
Pure form of water is separated by decantation. This is done by pouring out the clear upper layer of liquid.
Finally, water enters the chlorination tank where water is treated with chlorine to kill any bacteria present in the drinking water.
