As given us, the cost of $1 d o z e n$ pens is $₹ 36$
Cost of $12$ pens is $₹ 36$ $[∵ 1 d o z e n = 12]$
So, cost of $1$ pen is $= \frac{36}{12} ₹ = 3 ₹$
Hence, cost of $6$ pens $= 3 \times 6 = 18 ₹$ .
