Price of each banana = 48 / 12 = ₹4
Given price of 5 apples is ₹100.
Price of each apple = 100 / 5 = ₹20
The number 4 has only one digit, whereas, 20 is a two-digit number.
Clearly, 20 > 4.
So, an apple is costlier than a banana.
