Solution

Let the cost of 1 Kg potato, 1 Kg wheat and 1 Kg rice be x,y,z respectively
Then, ATQ:
4x+3y+2z=150
x+2y+3z=125
6x+2y+3z=175
D=∣ ∣ ∣ ∣432123623∣ ∣ ∣ ∣
=4(66)3(318)+2(212)
=25
D1=∣ ∣ ∣ ∣150321252317523∣ ∣ ∣ ∣
=150(66)125(94)+175(94)
=250
D2=∣ ∣ ∣ ∣415021125361753∣ ∣ ∣ ∣
=4(375525)150(318)+2(175750)
=500
D3=∣ ∣ ∣ ∣431501212562175∣ ∣ ∣ ∣
=4(350250)3(175750)+150(212)
=625
Now,
x=D1D=25025=10
y=D2D=50025=20
z=D3D=62525=25
