Given,

We know that if the length of the cloth increases, then the cost will also increase.

$\text{So, Length of cloth}\left(x\right)\propto \text{Cost}\left(y\right)$
$\therefore \frac{x_1}{y_1}=\frac{x_2}{y_2}$

Given,
For the cotton cloth
$x_1=5\text{meters}$
$y_1=₹250$
$x_2=4\text{meters}$
