The cost of a table and chair together is $Rs1620$. If the table costs $16\%$ more then the chair find the cost of each.

Let the cost of the chair be $c$

And that of table be $t$

According to question,

$t+c=1620$ ......(1)

$t=c+\frac{16c}{100}$ .......(2)

On, solving (1) & (2), we get

$c=870$ & $t=750$

Hence, cost of chair= $870Rs$

and cost of table = $750Rs$
