Solution

Step 1: Find total amount of a TV set and a VCR.

Given : Cost for a TV set =Rs.9,875

Cost for a VCR =Rs.12,735

So, total amount of a TV set and a VCR =Rs.9,875+12,735

Step 2 : Finding the amount paid by cheque.

We know that Sunil pay Rs.15,000 by cash

So, the amount paid by cheque =Total amount of a TV set and a VCR -Amount paid by cash

=Rs.22,610-15,000
