width of carpet$=75$m

cost of carpet$=80$Rs. p.m.

Total cost$=19,200$ Rs.

also, given, to find out the width of the room.

Let, the width of the room be 'b' mt.

$\therefore$ Area of the room$=L\times b=15\times b=15b{m}^2$

$(\because$ Area of $\square$le$=L\times b)$

Length of the carpet$=\frac{totalcost}{costpermt}=\frac{19200}{80}$

Length of the carpet$=240mt$

as given 'W' of the carpet$=75$m

Area of the carpet$=240\times 75=18000$

Area of the room$=$Area of carpet

$\Rightarrow 15b=18000$

$b=\frac{18000}{15}$$=1200mt$

$\therefore$ The width of the room$=1200$mt or $12$cm.
