Let we take $2x$ kg of type 1 rice, costing Rs. 10 per kg.
and $3x$ kg of type 2 rice, costing Rs. 20 per kg.
Total weight of mixture =( 2x+3x)kg= $5x$ kg.
Total cost of $5x$ kg mixture =Rs($10\times 2x+20\times 3x$ )
Total cost of $5x$ kg mixture = $80x$
$\therefore$ Cost of 1 kg. mixture = $\frac{80x}{5x}=Rs.16$
