Let 2 kg and 3 kg of type 1 rice and type 2 rice is taken respectively.
Total quantity of mixture=(2kg+3kg)=5kg
Cost of 1kg of type 1 rice = Rs. 15
$\therefore$ Cost of 2kg of type 1 rice = $2\times 15$ = Rs. 30
$\because$ Cost of 1 kg type 2 rice = Rs. 20
$\therefore$ Cost of 3kg of type 2 rice = $3\times 20$ = Rs. 60
Total cost of 5kg of mixture of rice = Rs.( 30+60)= Rs. 90
$\therefore$ Cost of 1kg of mixture= Rs.$\frac{90}{5}$= Rs. 18
