$C P = R s . 1600$

Given $C P = (M . P - \frac{20}{100} M P)$

$1600 = \frac{80}{100} M . P$

$M . P = R s = 2000$

$S . P$ (at a $16 M =$ discount) $(2000 - 2000 \times \frac{16}{100})$

$= R s . 1680$

Profit $= S . P - C . P .$

$= R s 80$

Profit $% = \frac{P r o f i t}{C . P} \times 100 = \frac{80}{1600} \times 100 = 5 %$
