After 2 hours, number of bacteria,
Amount (A) = P(1 + (R/100))ⁿ A = 500000×(1 + (2/100))² = 500000×(1 + (0.02))² = 500000×(1.02)² = 500000×(1.0404) = 520200 bacteria at the end of 2 years.
