The critical temperature of CO2(Carbon dioxide) and N2(Nitrogen) gas are 31oCand -147oC respectively.

As we know that the critical temperature of CO2(Carbon dioxide) is high. This is because the intermolecular forces of attraction among the CO2 molecules are more as compared to N2(Nitrogen). Hence, CO2 can be liquified very easily.
