Solution

The current era is called the ‘Plastic age’. This statement is completely justified.

  1. In the present time we use an uncountable number of articles made of plastic.
  2. If you look around at this moment, you will stumble upon at least a few things that are made up of plastic.
  3. Day-to-day articles made up of metals and wood have been replaced with their plastic counterparts.
  4. Carry bags that were once made up of fabrics have been substituted with polythene. It is hard to imagine a kitchen without plastic storage boxes.
  5. From the electronic gadgets, electrical switches, storage containers, utensils, chairs, tables, polythene, combs, etc and this list is endless.

If we want to save our planet Earth, the use of plastic should be minimized because plastic is non-biodegradable and pollutes the environment.
