Solution

The correct option is C 313π mm2

Curved surface area of a frustum cone = π(r + R)s 25π mm2

Total surface area of a frustum of cone = π(r + R)s+ πr2 + πR2 350π mm2

Larger circle area = πR2 12π mm2

Smaller circle area = πr2 ?

Therefore, SA = π(r + R)s + πr2 + πR2

350π = 25π + Area of smaller circle + 12π

350π - 25π- 12π = Area of smaller circle

Area of smaller circle of a frustum cone = 313π mm2
