Solution

The correct option is B 165 mm2

Curved surface area of a frustum cone = π(r + R)s 250 mm2

Total surface area of a frustum of cone = π(r + R)s + πr2 + πR2 450 mm2

Smaller circle area = πr2 35 mm2

Larger circle area = πR2 ?

Therefore,

SA = π(r + R)s + πr2 + πR2

450=250+ Area of larger circle + 35

45025035=Area of larger circle

Area of larger circle of a frustum cone = 165 mm2
