and , the curved surface area of cylinder $=88c{m}^2$

we know that ,

the curved surface area of cylinder $=2\pi rh$

and $2r=d$

here , $r=radiusofcylinder$ , $d=diameterofcylinder$ and $h=heightofcylinder$

so , the curved surface area of cylinder $=\pi dh$ $=88c{m}^2$

$\pi \times d\times 14=88$

$\frac{22}{7}\times d\times 14=88$

$d=2cm$

so, the diameter of the cylinder is $2cm$.
