The daily wages of a supervisor is $R s 60$ more than that of a labourer. If $5$ supervisors and $7$ labourers together receive $R s 1500$ , find the wages of a llabourer and a supervisors.

Let the daily wage of a labourer
= Rs. x
Daily wage of supervisor = $2 (x + 60)$
Now,
$5 (x + 60) + 7 (x) = R s 1500$
$5 x + 300 + 7 x = R s 1500$
$12 x = R s . 1200$
$x = R s . 100$
Daily wage of labourer = Rs 100
Daily wage of supervisor = Rs 160
