Solution

The correct option is B four times the de-Broglie wavelength of the electron in the ground state
De-Broglie wavelength is given as

λ=hmv...(i) where h is planck constant

The velocity of electron in Bohr model is given as

v=h2πmean...(i)
in the ground state n=1

vn=1=h2πmea

vn=4=h2πmea4

vn=4=vn=14...(iii)

from equation (i)

λn=4=hmevn=4

substituting value of vn=4 from equation (iii)

λn=4=hmevn=14

λn=4=4λn=1

Hence correct answer will be option B.
