166 mL sample of fresh juice requires 10 mL of KIO3.
25 mL of sample of fresh juice will require =25166×10=1.5 mL of KIO3.
After 2 months, 25 mL of sample of fresh juice requires 0.5 mL of KIO3.
Hence, k=2.303tlogaax for first order kinetics.
k=2.30360log1.50.5=0.0183
The average life is 1k=10.0183=54.6 days.
