Let the Rational number is $\frac{x}{x+6}$

From question $\frac{(x+15)}{(x+6-1)}$ = 2

$\frac{(x+15)}{(x+5)}$ = 2

By cross multiplication

x + 15 = 2x +10

x = 5

So, given rational number = $\frac{5}{(5+6)}$

= $\frac{5}{11}$
