The density of diamond is less than density of iron, then why does sound move faster in diamond than iron?

Speed of sound in a media depends elasticity as well as density of a medium.

$speedofsound=\sqrt{\frac{elasticityfactor}{density}}$

Now as diamond has less density as well as more elasticity than iron so its speed is more in diamond.
